Thanking the minister for recognizing Prakasam district as a backward one, he requested providing a total of Rs 350 crores in assistance over 7 years, the same way other backward districts have been allotted.Stating that there was a need to provide production-based incentives to other manufacturing industries, in addition to green and renewable energy industries to be set in Andhra Pradesh, he sought funds for industrial nodes in Donakonda in Prakasham district, Nakkapalli in Visakhapatnam, Yerpedu in Chitoor, and Hindupur.He thanked her for allocating funds for the Orvakal and Koparthi industrial nodes.
