Many influential leaders have expressed their disappointment, alleging sidelining, caste bias, and a lack of consultation in the selection process.
On Sunday, 33 ministers were sworn in at Raj Bhavan by Governor Ramesh Bais, but the exclusions of stalwarts like Chhagan Bhujbal, Sudhir Mungantiwar, and Tanaji Sawant have led to visible fractures within the coalition.
Senior NCP leader and former minister Chhagan Bhujbal, a prominent OBC leader, has been one of the most vocal critics of his exclusion. Skipping Monday's legislative session in Nagpur, Bhujbal returned to Nashik, expressing his anger to the media. "They cannot finish Bhujbal," he remarked, underscoring his resilience.
