The notice comes in response to a serious accident on September 8, 2024, which left three workers critically injured. Two of the injured workers, Bharat Verma and Khileshwar Sahu, succumbed to their injuries on September 12 and 14, respectively. The management failed to inform the district administration about the incident, a violation of Rule 108 (2) of the Chhattisgarh Factories Rules, 1962, which mandates immediate reporting of accidents resulting in death or serious injury.
