MEPMA signs MoU with industry ONDC and Home Triangle

In a significant move to empower Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and improve the livelihoods of urban poor women, MEPMA (Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas) Director, N Tej Bharat, conducted a workshop on the e-Commerce Action Plan aimed at promoting SHG products and enhancing home services through strategic partnerships, on Saturday and signed MoUs with ONDC, MyStore, and HomeTriangle.

Under the guidance of Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, and MA & UD Minister P. Narayana, the workshop outlined a clear roadmap for integrating e-commerce platforms with SHGs, thereby boosting their market access and facilitating economic empowerment for women across the state. MEPMA, which currently mobilizes over 28 lakh women in 123 municipalities through nearly 2.8 lakh societies, is driving initiatives to alleviate urban poverty and create sustainable livelihoods.
