NEET Marks To Be Shared

The Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the National Testing Agency (NTA) to publish the marks obtained by all 23 lakh candidates who took the NEET UG exam for the year 2024 by noon Saturday, reports Bar and Bench.

(According to Live Law, the results will be uploaded by 5 pm on Friday.)

The results are to be published in their entirety - city and centre-wise. The identities of the students will, however, remain masked, the court instructed the NTA, which is under-fire over allegations of leaked question papers and violation of marking protocol.

"You can have dummy roll numbers, so no student's identity is disclosed. But let us see, centre-wise, what was the mark pattern."
