Parties keep their fingers crossed

With the exit polls pointing to a third term for the NDA, leaders of both the Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi claim that they are on course to win more seats than predicted

Both the Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliances have claimed that they will win more seats than the ext poll predictions. Exit polls predicted 350-380 seats to NDA and 150-180 seats to INDIA bloc. Various exit polls also predicted that BJPled Mahayuti will get 22-35 seats, while MVA 15-26 seats in Maharashtra.

Vijay Vaddetiwar, Opposition leader in State assembly, said, "If you go on the road and ask ten people about the poll results, eight people will say INDIA. During West Bengal elections, BJP declared more than 170 seats but they had won only 70 seats. Everyone knows that exist polls are never perfect. You will see the government will change on June 4."
