The residents of the area had been facing reduced and contaminated supply for the past three to four days. Officials from BMC's S-ward found out that it was caused by damage to a 300mm diameter water main. Assistant municipal commissioner of S-Ward, Bhaskar Kasgikar, said repair work is currently underway, with civic teams working to restore the supply as soon as possible.
