The Free Press Journal|January 13, 2024
For the launch of 21.8 km Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) – Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu – at the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, south Mumbai was looking its best. PM dedicates Atal Setu to nation, says Maha has shown how devpt is done

The Prime Minister said MTHL will be a game changer for the state’s economic and social development. Hailing the country’s longest bridge as the “glimpse of developed India”, he said that his government is committed to infrastructural development of the country, and the state of Maharashtra has been at the forefront.

“With MTHL, the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport, the Bandra-Versova Sea Link and other infrastructure projects, the state has shown to the rest of the country the way development should be done in a systematic way,” the PM said while inaugurating a host of other projects. He was addressing a mammoth gathering of close to 50,000 people who had come from different parts of the state to attend the launches.
