Poor state of Samruddhi alarms drivers

Complaining of “uneven rides” on the Shirdi-Chhatrapati Sambhaji stretch of Samruddhi Mahamarg, commuters have asserted that the arterial road's condition has become very bad. It is becoming very difficult to manoeuvre vehicles, they added.

“I need to travel frequently to Nashik, Aurangabad and Nagpur. Since the expressway became operational, I have been using it to save time. However, in the past few days, the condition of the road has become bad,” said Niraj Wanikar.

“I was on the road just last week and observed that the stretch between Shirdi and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar has got worse. My SUV was wobbling and it was difficult for me to control the vehicle,” he said.
