The city civil court recently disposed of a civil suit filed in March 1987 by a flat purchaser and ordered the developer to hand over the possession to the plaintiff on payment of balance consideration. The issue arose when the builder demanded excess funds in January 1985 from the flat purchasers.
Ishwarsingh Hazarasingh accordingly filed a suit on March 18, 1987, against M/s. Survin Development Corporation after it failed to give possession of the flat after several requests died while the litigation was pending leaving his daughters to pursue the case.
