Salil Ankola's mom found in pool of blood

Former Indian cricketer Salil Ankola's mother, Mala Ashok Ankola, 77, was found dead on Friday under suspicious circumstances at her residence in Pune.

Her lifeless body was discovered inside a locked room, lying in a pool of blood, raising serious questions about whether this was a case of murder or suicide. The local police are actively investigating the matter to determine the cause of death.

Mala Ankola lived with her daughter in a society called "Adi" on Prabhat Road, Pune. She was usually alone at home during the day, as her daughter would be at work.
