His visit, accompanied by his wife and two others on Thursday evening, has prompted authorities to launch an investigation.

Shrikant, who represents the Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency in Thane, worshipped the deity for approximately six minutes before leaving, raising eyebrows among temple officials and the public alike. This incident marks the fourth time in four months that VIPs have gained access to the sanctum, undermining the established rules designed to maintain order and equality among devotees.
