Tension prevailed in Parbhani city when some unidentified persons desecrated a stone sculpture of the Indian Constitution in the Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Statue area on Tuesday night. Several leaders, officials of the political parties, Ambedkarite organisations and citizens gathered at the spot and demanded immediate investigation and arrest of the accused.
