Hundreds of passengers aboard the Titwala-CSMT air-conditioned local train were stranded at Dadar station on Saturday after the train manager failed to open the doors, leaving commuters trapped inside.
An official said that the train manager Gopal Dhake has been suspended, and further investigation is underway. "Dhake forgot to open the doors at Dadar station. He has been suspended, and we will take appropriate action including sensitisation to prevent such incidents in the future," said a CR official.
