The incident occurred while the ambulance was en route to Punjab, carrying the bodies of the suspected militants accused of orchestrating a grenade attack on a police post in Gurdaspur. While no injuries were reported, the ambulance sustained heavy damage, prompting authorities to transfer the bodies to another vehicle.
