While there is no time stamp in the video the Kolkata police are not denying that the video is from the crime scene and emanated soon after the unnatural death of the trainee doctor came to light.

What it shows, however, are Dr Debashish Som, a close aide of the principal of the medical college at the time of the murder, and his lawyer, Shantanu Dey, and the principal's Personal Assistant. The of ficer in charge of the hospital's police outpost is also there, in uniform, and they are all discussing something.
