The persistent drinking water crises in Yemmiganur Municipality is the result of the negligence of the previous government, stated Minister Ponguru Narayana during an Assembly session, on Monday.
Responding to a question raised by Yemmiganur MLA Jayanageshwar Reddy, the minister clarified that efforts are currently underway to resolve the issue through the Gajuladinne Drinking water Scheme, with a budget allocation of Rs. 148 crore.
