TABLE-TOPPING PILGRIMS RELISHING HUGE CLASH AT IPSWICH
CHRIS ERRINGTON
ACID TEST FOR ARGYLE

STEVEN Schumacher has described Plymouth Argyle's top-of-the-clash against Ipswich Town at a sold-out Portman Road today as 'a huge game' and one which his players are 'really excited about?

The Pilgrims are setting the pace in League One, as they have done almost continuously since their thrilling Sky-televised 2-1 come-from-behind win against Ipswich at Home Park in late September.

Ipswich are in third place, seven points behind Argyle, who have played one more match than them, so the importance of the match is obvious.

Town will be roared on by a full house at Portman Road, where they have won seven of their 12 league games this season and lost only one.

Schumacher said: "It's a huge game, it doesn't get much bigger so I'm really looking forward to it. It should be exciting.

"The game early on in the season that we played against them was a real high quality, high standard game so hopefully we see something similar at the weekend."

Ipswich could close the gap on Argyle to four points by beating them, but a win for Argyle would see them open up a 10-point advantage.
