Age is no barrier to travel for India

A PLYMOUTH woman is proving that it is never too late to follow your dreams by taking a solo gap year at the age of 31.

India Jolly wants to "break" the "expectation" that it is too late to take a leap of faith and travel the world. She has always wanted to travel around south-east Asia but, every time she had the savings to go, she ended up going back to university to study instead.

India realised her short attention span was a symptom of ADHD, after seeing other women talking about it on TikTok, and was officially diagnosed in August 2022.

After taking a fixed-term maternity cover job as a curator at a museum, she used the opportunity to save for travelling and booked her flights before she could change her mind.
