Argyle fan meets the Rooneys

AN avid Plymouth Argyle fan has told how Wayne and Coleen Rooney have shared snippets of their new life since the England and Manchester United legend became the Pilgrims' head coach.

The Argyle squad have been in Spain for a pre-season training camp before Wayne returns to his new home in Plymouth, where he will be reunited with his family in the school holidays.

Argyle fan George, 27, of Plymouth, travelled out to Spain to watch Argyle train in an open training session last Thursday, and then the folagainst day's lowing Orlando Pirates.

friendly The club held a Q&A event at The Clubhouse Marbella sports bar for fans who had made the journey to Spain. After the event, Rooney, accompanied by his wife Coleen, joined fans in the bar area and drank with fans and Argyle staff.
