FREE ferry trips will be on offer as part of a weekend trailling new public transport options.
The boat trips will be running from Saltash Pier to the Tamar River Sailing Club (Silverline Cruises) and from Saltash Pier to the Royal William Yard (Plymouth Boat Trips) and back on Easter Saturday, March 30, with the first trip leaving Saltash at 10am running until 4pm.
The crossings are part of a public consultation and transport trial event where Saltash Town Council is looking at how connections in and around Saltash can be improved.
At Saltash Waterside there will also be the opportunity to have a go in a tuk-tuk, ride a land train, take a journey around town in Saltash Red Bus and try a Beryl Bike, all for free.
Other activities include an Easter Egg Hunt, guided heritage walks and a craft fair at Isambard House at Saltash Train Station.
