QUEUES AROUND DEEP LANE JUNCTION 'ESPECIALLY BAD'
AMBER EDWARDS
Calls made to improve 'dangerous' A38 route

CALLS have been made for safety measures to be put in place to help deal with additional traffic on the A38.

Councillors are concerned the new Freeport area will cause further traffic delays in the area due to the expected increase of heavy goods vehicles.

They say queueing on the A38 around the Deep Lane junction is becoming increasingly dangerous and believe plans to improve the capacity of the junction are vital. They also say that the daily queues along Sandy Road and Holland Road are impacting the residents of Chaddlewood and are calling for the industrial traffic of Langage to be separated from the residential traffic of Chaddlewood.
