Collier gets his reward with an Albion testimonial next month

IT'S the time in the season when we are sort of in a 'lull' with nothing much happening on the pitch in terms of Plymouth Albion play, and nothing much going on off the pitch.

Well, saying that, I know that the coaching team, Ryan Lamb and Aaron Jarvis, alongside managing director, Max Venables are busy preparing for the new season.

Pre-season is coming round quickly. This year is just flying by already and sure enough, come June 1, it will be foot fully to the floor and building towards creating the topflight squad we so desperately want for next season.

Aside from the boys in Cherry Red, Green and White, we are delighted to be hosting the Bill Beaumont Championship pool match between Devon and Gloucestershire on May 20. So, get that in your diary if you require a Brickfields fix during the off-season.

Another date to pen in is the testimonial match for long term fan favourite, Dan Collier, where he will be celebrating 12 seasons with us at Albion - we just can't seem to shake him!
