Colts are the future of our rugby club

HASN'T this weather just been glorious? Much deserved after a long and miserable summer.

Colts are the future of our rugby club

Today, we host our first league home game of the season, and we are so excited to play our local rivals, Taunton Titans, at the Brickfields Fortress.

I am not sure how many of you, like I did, followed last week's game against London-based Rosslyn Park, on X (formerly Twitter), but my goodness, what a game was had.

Shea Cornish kicked the game off with an interception try, putting the wind in our sails, but that was just the start of the influx of tries from both teams. After 11 tries in total, Rosslyn eventually took the win by just three points, Albion coming away with two losing bonus points, which is a fantastic effort from the boys against a tough London side.

As I said previously, Taunton are travelling their shortest journey down the M5, having lost against recently-promoted Blackheath. Both Taunton and Albion will be looking to prove a point. We have a treat for those that head to Brickfields earlier today, as our Colts team will also be getting their home campaign underway against Paignton before the first team match.
