Cruise ships set to visit the Ocean City

THE first of 10 cruise ships scheduled to visit Plymouth this year will drop anchor in the Sound next month.

The MS Rotterdam is scheduled for an eight-hour stop on April 16. The 297m long Holland America Line vessel, arriving at 8am, is expected to bring 2,668 passengers to Plymouth, enroute from New York. It is following up a 150th anniversary visit in October 2022 to celebrate the 1872 founding of the shipping line.
