A PLYMOUTH-based Royal Navy vessel has been joined by other ships and an RAF patrol aircraft to track a series of Russian boats in waters close to the UK in a concerted monitoring operation.
HMS Portland-based at HMNB Devonport along with HMS Tyne and P8 Poseidon aircraft from RAF Lossiemouth reported on the movements of the Russian Navy in the English Channel, North Sea and North Atlantic.
