Cissoko had an assist when Ryan Hardie was on target in the 3-0 Carabao Cup first round win against Cheltenham Town last Wednesday, and the 21-year-old then became the player to score the first Championship goal of Wayne Rooney’s reign in the 1-1 draw with Hull City on Saturday.

The Green Army have already adapted the 1980s song Gold by Spandau Ballet, which they used to pay tribute to former Argyle striker Sam Cosgrove, for Cissoko.
