A NEW-build Plymouth housing estate will be getting even bigger after Persimmon Homes was granted planning permission to extend the Palmerston Heights development in Derriford.
In total, Persimmon Homes Cornwall and West Devon will build 50 new homes on land adjacent to its existing Palmerston Heights site in the north of the city.
As part of the plans - which includes more £500,000 worth of Section 106 obligations the homes will be equipped with air source heat pumps to limit carbon emissions and cycle storage to encourage active travel. The vast majority of the homes will also have electric vehicle charging points.
