We haven’t done anything wrong but he says me and my family have to move out. I’m really worried I won’t be able to find somewhere else to live in time. What should I do?
GETTING a section 21 notice (s21) can leave you feeling very worried, but you don’t have to deal with it on your own. In fact, if you’ve been given a s21 or any other type of notice, the best thing to do is contact us for advice soon as you can. We can explain what the notice means and help you work out what to do next.
It’s also important to contact the council to let them know you are at risk of homelessness if you receive a s21, as the steps you take after you receive your notice can affect the housing and homelessness support you’re entitled to.
