A PLYMOUTH florist who was a contestant on the BBC's high profile Ultimate Wedding Planner reality show claims she was 'sacrificed' to boost drama in the contest.
Yasmin Downing was condemned by judges Sara Davies and Fred Sirieix and kicked off the programme for failing to organise VIP transport for a dream wedding for a couple.
But the 33-year-old former Babcock manager claims her choice of a luxury coach was vetoed by production staff, leaving her to scramble for alternatives and leave the newlyweds in the lurch.
"My original idea for transport was to hire a VIP coach with tables and big screens and create a personalised video for everyone to watch the couple's story during the journey from ceremony to reception venue. I thought it was lovely touch and ticked the box," says Yasmin, one of eight contestants battling for a prize of opening their own wedding business.
