DEFENDER TO REHABILITATE IN PLYMOUTH FROM KNEE ISSUE
- By ALEX GREEN

PLYMOUTH Argyle defender Maksym Talovierov will miss Ukraine's two-legged Nations League play-off with Belgium after picking up a knee injury.

The 24-year-old stopper, who became the club's record buy in January, joining from Austrian top-flight club LASK, has now left his team's training camp and will return to Home Park, where he will begin his rehabilitation under the guidance of Argyle's medical staff.

It is not clear how serious the injury is and whether it will rule Talovierov out of the Pilgrims' bid for Championship survival, but the Ukrainian Association of Football confirmed that he picked up the injury during Argyle's 3-2 defeat at home to Derby County on Saturday.
