New landing site for Devon Air Ambulance

DEVON Air Ambulance have announced that a new landing site in Yealmpton for those needing urgent treatment has become operational - making it more than 200 which are active and available across Devon.
New landing site for Devon Air Ambulance

The village playing field was been surveyed and agreed for use by the Devon Air Ambulance during 'hours of darkness' so clinical teams can reach patients more quickly.

The site is the 202nd in Devon and has been made possible by support from Yealmpton Parish Council and the Yealmpton Athletics Association.
