THE installation of controversial parking meters in Plympton last year has not deterred shoppers, councillors have been told.
A report to the city council’s performance, finance and customer focus overview and scrutiny committee revealed that the number of visitors using the Ridgeway car parks has remained steady, with more than 1,500 vehicles a day recorded from May 2023 to January 2024.
