AN investigation has been launched after an incident between players and fans at a basketball match in Plymouth.
The incident broke out in the final minutes of a fixture between Plymouth Marjon Patriots and Plymouth Raiders at the Marjon University campus.
According to Raiders, players were ejected from the game last Saturday after a number of home fans flooded on to the court. Both teams have condemned the scenes as "unacceptable", while Basketball England is investigating what happened.
Raiders asked the university-run Patriots for footage of the game, but the home team's camera reportedly failed to record what happened, due to a "battery problem".
