Protesters say that the retaliatory attacks by Israel on Gaza, following the killing of some 1,400 Israelis on October 7, are disproportionate, targeting civilians, and must end immediately.
Officials in the Gaza Strip say more than 10,000 civilians have been killed, 4,000 of whom are children.
Protests in support of Palestine have taken place across Britain and the world, with more 140 nations calling for an immediate ceasefire.
