Residents of Greenacres at Compton were joined by staff and friends from the neighbouring retirement apartments for an evening of romantic music and dancing.
It was also a chance to say thank you to some of the staff who have worked at Greenacres since its very first day.
Hayley Parrish, Sue Berry, Jackie Jones, Julie Rumsby and Iza Grabowska were all presented with bouquets to mark their dedicated service.
Greenacres residents were able to don evening wear thanks to the generous support of Millfields Trust and Millfields Inspired.
The party was organised by Greenacres manager Angela Sayer and her deputy Nikki Riseborough.
Nikki said: "We wanted a special event to mark our 10th anniversary. As it was St Valentine's Day we decided to throw a proper ball.
"Thanks to Millfields Inspired all our residents were able to dress the part.
"They really enjoyed dancing, with a visiting medic making dreams come true for one resident by whirling her around the dance floor." Originally built and opened in the 1980s as a purpose-built home, Greenacres Care Centre Centre was bought and fully refurbished by Mannamead Care in 2014.
