ARGYLE'S BRAVE YOUNGSTERS MAKE MEMORIES OF A LIFETIME
- By BAILEY HURST Football correspondent @WMNSport
'YOU DID US SO PROUD!'

Argyle's youngsters made memories that will last a lifetime in running out and playing at Villa Park, but their hopes of going on to face the might of Manchester United were shattered following a 3-0 defeat in the quarter-final of the FA Youth Cup.

There is no shame in losing to a Category One Academy with considerably more resources than the Pilgrims and this season's Youth Cup journey has been one that will live long in the memory for all connected to the club, especially those players involved.

It started as far away from Home Park as you can imagine in round three with a 4-2 extra-time victory at Carlisle United. That was followed by a penalty shoot-out success at the Theatre of Greens against Lincoln City, which set up a fifth round date with Everton.
