A second man was killed after a shootout with police started when both suspects arrived in a vehicle near the entrance to Turkey's Interior Affairs ministry in Ankara. Turkey's interior minister also tweeted that two police officers were injured during the attack.
The explosion happened before president Recep Tayyip Erdogan was set to deliver an address to parliament. Television footage showed bomb squads working near a parked vehicle in the area which is located near Turkey’s National Assembly.
