Atishi targets central govt, questions law and order situation in city
The Morning Standard
|October 21, 2024
REACTING to the bomb blast incident outside a school in Rohini on Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said it revealed the crumbling state of the city's security.
-
"The central government is tasked with maintaining law and order in the capital. However, it is more focused on disrupting the work of the elected Delhi government," she alleged.
A loud explosion near a CRPF school in the Prashant Vihar area in Rohini on Sunday morning sparked a security alert in the national capital. No one was injured in the blast, which initial investigation suggests could have been caused by a crude bomb, officials said. Police said a school wall, nearby shops and a car were damaged.
