According to an official notification, Dileep Jaiswal, an MLC and minister in Bihar government, was appointed the new president of Bihar BJP, replacing Samrat Chaudhary. Madan Rathore was appointed new president of Rajasthan BJP with immediate effect. Madan Rathore, a Rajya Sabha MP, is considered a strategist. Jaiswal's appointment as Bihar BJP chief will bear good impact on the vote bank of the EBC ahead of the assembly polls in 2025.
