IN a move towards resolving the "legacy waste," the Haryana government on Friday directed officers to expedite the processing of such waste at the Bandhwari landfill site in Gurugram. They were also instructed to ensure that the entire legacy waste be processed by November.
In a virtual meeting, Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal also ordered the identifying and finalising of two more landfill sites in Gurugram. Officers of urban local bodies, municipal corporations of Gurugram and Faridabad participated.
