A BAPS Swaminarayan temple in the Sacramento area of California was vandalised and anti-Hindu messages were written as graffiti on the temple wall.
"This type of hate against Hindu Americans and vandalism is appalling and morally wrong. The US Department of Justice must investigate these hate crimes and those responsible must be held fully accountable under the law," said US Congressmen Ro Khanna on Wednesday.
