HIMACHAL Pradesh experienced its second light snowfall of the season on Monday, bringing joy to both locals and tourists. As word spread, visitors vacationing in Shimla and the higher reaches of the Kullu-Manali, Kinnaur, and Lahaul-Spiti districts eagerly emerged from their houses and resorts to enjoy the snow.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for severe colds in the Bilaspur, Una, Hamirpur, and Mandi districts for four days starting Monday. It also forecasts light rain and snowfall at a few places in the mid and higher hills till Thursday.
