THE five-day annual Bhavani Deeksha relinquishment commenced with devotion and grandeur at Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam (SDMSD) atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada on Saturday. The ritual, held from December 21 to 25, saw thousands of devotees throng the temple to complete their deeksha. Anticipating huge devotee rush, the temple officials made elaborate arrangements to ensure a smooth conduct of the ritual.
