Tiger scare: Assam children escorted to school & back by armed personnel

A group of 18 children on Monday got VIP treatment as they were escorted to their school and brought back home by armed forest guards in Assam.

A stretch of the road from the students’ Timona Basti and Kendupaam village to their Nam Kamakhya Gaon Lower Primary School in central Assam’s Nagaon district passes through a tea garden which is frequented by a full-grown tiger that killed a man and injured others recently.
