The victim, 27-year-old Bishnupriya Mallick, suffered multiple stab wounds. She worked as a constable (signal) with the Cyber Crime police of Cuttack Urban Police District (UPD).
The incident took place at Sidheswar Sahi within Lalbag police limits.
