He also made it clear that the government would not give permission for an increase in ticket prices, benefit and special shows for new film releases. He, however, assured that the government will extend all support the film industry needs for its growth.
Another key takeaway was the constitution of a Cabinet sub-committee to resolve the problems of the film industry. The chief minister also suggested that the filmmakers constitute a committee among themselves.
