The road, which was repaired by Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage (TWAD) board after they finished installing a pipeline, caved in and vehicle movement on the dilapidated road, made things worse, resulting in breakage of the water pipeline below the road.
Water from the broken pipe has filled up potholes and caved in portions of the road making the stretch a death trap for motorists.
