JAN Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor has been admitted to ICU of Medanta Hospital in Patna after he complained of acute stomach ache on Tuesday. The doctors said that Kishor's condition is stable and a medical bulletin about his health condition would be released after test reports.Kishor, who had been sitting on fast-unto-death at Gandhi Maidan since January 2, developed health complications on Monday night after being arrested from a protest site. He was shortly released following grant of unconditional bail by Patna Civil Court. Candidates are demanding a re-test of the 70th Bihar Public Service Commission combined preliminary competitive examination.Doctors said that Kishor is suffering from dehydration and infection in his stomach. "The prolonged fasting may have contributed to his deteriorating health," a doctor said. Before being admitted, Kishor said that his indefinite hunger strike would continue.Meanwhile, students continued their protest at the designated site at Gardanibagh.
