IN the run-up to New Year 2025, Kappatagudda hill range in Gadag district has become a go-to destination for tourists. The hillock has been receiving many tourists, especially during the early morning hours.
Many tourists, who want to avoid long journeys during the year-end, are opting for local picnic spots. Hence, many people have started thronging Kappatagudda, post-Christmas.
Tourists come here to get fresh air and watch clouds moving close to the hillock. Nandiveri Mutt seer and some devotees are now organising trekking events on Sundays for the tourists.
